This was a public idea competition at national level. The contest was held in the gardens of the house and workshop of the painter Mario Toral. The main idea was to free the garden park of the house, maintain the vegetation, also incorporating the artist's sculptures in the park, creating different instances to contemplate the vegetation, the sculptures and the building itself.

The Second point was locate the exhibition rooms on the second floor hanging the cover structure in addition to the Roof, the photovoltaic plates are located to generate electricity for the museum's own use.​
